Garth Jones
Garth Jones began his professional life with a PhD in Organic Chemistry followed by seven years in academic biomedical research. Along the way he honed his furniture designing and building skills in Reed Woodworks' shop. At the beginning of 2000, he left the academic world and Jones Furniture Designs was born. In 2003 he apprenticed for six months at LeFort Furniture Makers south of Boston, and studied the design and construction of 18th century American furniture. Along with Don Reed, Jones is the owner and developer of the Slaughterhouse Gallery and Studios.
